Antiragging

ANTI-RAGGING SQUAD:-

The purpose of the squad is to prevent ragging and maintain ragging free campus.

OBJECTIVES OF SETTING UP ANTI RAGGING SQUAD:-

• To ensure compliance with the provision of UGC regulation 2009 at the institute level.
• To monitor and oversee the performance of anti ragging squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
• The anti-ragging squad will consist of the following members who are expected to keep a close watch around the entire campus particularly sensitive places from ragging point of view.
• All the members of squad will keep moving around the campus in order to avoid any ragging activity.
• They all expected to make a general round of the campus with alert eyes to discourge raggers and to avoid any such happening.

ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE:-

It is the duty of Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of these Regulationsas well as provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging andtomonitor and oversee theperformancein prevention of ragging in the institution.

Headof the institution as Chairman of the Anti-Ragging Committee may call for the meeting of the members of the Ant Ragging committee to deliberate on action to be taken in case of any case of ragging being reported, within twenty four hours off receipt of such information or recommendation.

It is the duty of Anti-Ragging Committee to conduct an enquiry in any incident of ragging referred to it by the Head of the institution or on receipt of any information concerning any reported incident of ragging and the enquiry report along with recommendations shall be submitted to the Head of the institution for action under clause (a) of Regulation 9.1.

ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-2023:-

It is body at institutional level to establish measures for prohibiting, preventing and banning activities of ragging menace within and outside the campus in accordance with AICTE/UGC Regulations, supreme court directives and state act, the committee is responsible for taking action against those found guilty of ragging and or abetting ragging, actively or passively or being part of a conspiracytopromoteragging.
